London Day 4

Today was an easier day after having one day of travel and two very busy days touring. It started out rainy, and as we had been contemplating going to the Tower of London on this day, we decided not to. We went by the Tower anyway, to check about their hours over the holiday weekend. We had read that a lot of things shut down on bank holidays, and with Good Friday being a bank holiday, we had no idea what to expect. The Tower was already pretty busy by the time we got there and decided definitely to come back another day. Instead, we went on to the Methodist Publishing House Bookshop which is located in the same building as the Methodist Church (UK) offices. The shopkeeper wasn't very helpful or informed, which made more sense when he told us he wasn't a Methodist. He did tell us about Wesley's Chapel and gave us a pamphlet, so we went on to Wesley's Chapel. We spent about an hour or so there, looking through the museum, chapel, and house. After we finished there, we went back to the hotel for a nap. I stayed in the hotel room while Darryl went out in search of Chinese take-away for dinner. All in all, it wasn't a terribly exciting day, but it was nice to have an easier day to rest.
