Blog Introduction

I'm sending out an announcement to my friends and relations which will include the unveiling of this blog. Aware that some people may not be familiar with blogs, I thought I'd write a brief introduction to the blog to help orient newbie blog readers.

The blog is made of several individual entries, or posts. These are arranged in reverse chronological order, meaning the most recent post is first. The blog page holds about 8 full posts, but this number varies depending on the length of the posts.

The way this blog is designed, there are two separate sections that run down the right side of the screen. The first contains information about me. I update this section regularly to reflect changes in what I am reading, watching, and working on. The next section is a menu for navigating through previous posts. The ten most recent posts are listed by title, followed by links to monthly archives. Clicking on a link to an archive will display all the posts from that month.

You may comment on any blog post by clicking on the "-- comments" link at the end of the post (the -- represents a number). This will take you to a page to view comments (if there are any) and a link will invite you to post a comment.
