Telling everyone
Sharing news like this is never easy. It's difficult to know how some people will react. Most everyone is very, very happy for us, and that feels good. Some are a bit surprised; others more shocked. My mom cried, but Darryl's mom screamed (joyously, of course). All of those really close to us now know the news, with the rest of our friends and relations to follow. I'm finding that advice (wanted and unwanted) is available by the truck-load and various corporations are lining up to offer me free things in exchange for my address and implied acceptance of their badgering me by junk-mail. Everything seems to be changing so quickly, and its hard for me to hold onto reality at times. We'll get through it, even though our lives will never be the same again.
