This was a complete junk read. It wasn't bad - just junk. It's a novel based on the "Angel" TV show, a spinoff from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." I would place the action in this book sometime during the second season of the show, pre-Fred and pre-Darla/Conner. It involves a talented painter who has the power to change reality and create new realities through her art. It contains flashbacks from Angel's Angelus days and makes interesting connections to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein that are forced at times. All in all, it wasn't non-enjoyable. But the only reason why I read it was because the book was passed on to me by a friend who bought it on the bargain rack at a local bookstore. I don't know who I'll pass it on to. If there are any takers, let me know! :-)
